Leucadia, CA — Vigilucci’s Restaurant Group is excited to announce the expansion, remodeling and relocation of its popular Vigilucci’s Trattoria Italiana. Moving to 530 N. Coast Hwy 101 on the corner of Athena St. in Leucadia, the new location will provide the space needed to better accommodate the growing number of private party requests while enhancing the charming, intimate ambiance for which the Trattoria is known. A major transformation to the property, currently operating as Robbie’s, is scheduled to begin in October, with the Trattoria debuting its new look before the year ends.
In the tournament’s 32-year history, it has raised more than $800,000 for charity — with more than half of that raised since Vigilucci got involved, said Brian Cook, a spokesman for the event

Hospitality is the number one focus at Vigilucci's. With so many dining choices today we know our clients have placed their event in our hands and we value that trust.
Robbie and Staff:
The purpose of this email is to comment on the extremely POSITIVE experience I had working with Matt Moore and his team on a recent party I hosted in honor of my son’s Bar Mitzvah.
After having some issues with a caterer that I was planning to use, I called Matt just two weeks prior to the event date. Luckily, he had the night available and was very reassuring that we could pull together a delicious and cost-effective menu that would please my 150 guests. Keep in mind that my guest list was extremely varied due to the nature of the party—we had young children, teens, adults, and seniors. Let’s just say that it was not an easy crowd to please.
Matt quickly came to see the venue and put together and awesome menu that turned out to be DELICIOUS. He even let us come in and taste our selections in the restaurant just to be sure we liked what we had chosen. I really can’t say enough about his professionalism and commitment to customer service. Hi Denise! Thomas' birthday was great! The staff was awesome and the food was absolutely amazing! Thank you again for all your help!
All my best!
DEL MAR ---- On Saturday morning at Dog Beach, 350 two-player teams came out to test their ball-tossing skills at the 31st annual Vigilucci's Beach Bocce World Championship.
In the morning during round-robin play, the games tend to be more casual fun. As the afternoon rolls around, however, the competitiveness and intensity tend to increase a notch as the tournament shifts to single-elimination play and only the most accurate hurlers are left standing.
In the highly contested women's division final, Jill Lamb and Patty Peters defeated Trudy Callaway and Karen Vold 11-8, edging the defending champions who have won five times overall. With the score tied 8-8, Peters lobbed a perfectly placed ball that landed right up against the pallino on the sand, ending the championship match with a dramatic three-point play.
Lamb and Peters, both of Cardiff, named their team "Kathy's Clowns" in honor of their late friend Kathy Godfrey, who died in a motorcycle accident 11 years ago. The women's tr

From Carlsbad in the north to Coronado in the south, San Diego County Coastal wine aficionados and diners have their choice of 7 prime Vigilucci’s locations to enjoy the beach scene. Between these locations, founder Roberto Vigilucci has a second restaurant in Carlsbad, two in Leucadia, and one in Encinitas and La Jolla. All have excellent wine lists, lots of Italian menu items and select locations have savory beef and seafood highlights. Catering is a growing part of his business with many unforgettable parties created by Vigilucci’s team.On the night we visited, the beachfront Vigilucci’s in Carlsbad was selected on a beautiful, balmy night with a never-ending sunset. I was greeted by manager Julian Oesterlein and server Francisca Simon who introduced me to a husky and luscious Italian Tuscan Brunello wine from Col D’ Orcia. It was a special cellar 1997 selection, available to any diner. Vigilucci is passionate ab
Dear Mrs. Joseph, Thank you for your hospitality during the events I hosted at your restaurant on 8 June in honor of the U.S. Marine Corps - French Army Staff Talks. Your restaurant proved to be a perfect venue, which facilitated open and friendly interaction between the two delegations. The food, drinks, ambiance and customer service at Vigilucci's Seafood and Steak were all excellent.
The newest in the Vigilucci's Restaurant Group, Vigilucci's Ristorante Coronado features an exceptional menu of certified prime steaks, fresh seafood and Italian favorites, complemented by an outstanding wine list. The restaurant's patio overlooks bustling Orange Avenue, while indoors, elegant decor including a wall-to-wall waterfall, ocean and Point Loma views, and a cozy lounge with piano bar enhance the dining experience.
The Seafood, Steak and Chop House is now offering brunch from 10:00am – 2:00pm every Sunday. Come in to enjoy some of Vigilucci’s signature brunch items including Uova al Tartufo con Asparagi, two eggs sunny side up over fresh asparagus topped with butter and truffle sauce served with potatoes au gratin, fresh fruit and a toasted English Muffin, the 8oz New York Strip & Poached Eggs or the Capicolla Eggs Benedict. Click on the Seafood and Steakhouse Menu for a full list of Sunday brunch items you won’t want to miss!
