Review:
This intimate and authentic-yet-trendy trattoria was a hit from the day
it was born. Owner Roberto Vigilucci, a native of Milan, offers a menu of
more than 20 fish, veal, beef and pasta creations, for surprisingly reasonable
prices.
Scampi fans will fall in love with the noticeably sweet shrimp in this restaurant's
expertly prepared version; and veal lovers should by all means try the saltimbocca.
But what's a trattoria without homey, hearty pastas? Vigilucci's delivers,
from simple angel hair, tomato and basil to a chunky penne and sausage.
Be prepared to wait for a table if you don't have a reservation.

glass place settings. Yet, even with fine decor, the atmosphere is low-key.
The tables are in close proximity to one another and the back wall is
home to a bar where diners may wait for a free table. Plentiful servings
of pasta are the key entree. Guests may try lasagna, angelhair or linguine
pastas. The linguine served with seafood is particularly popular. Other
favorites include veal and grilled calamari."
